Enterprise and industrial competitiveness

CSES has carried out extensive work on enterprise and industrial competitiveness policies.  This includes a large number of assignments as part of a Framework Contract on evaluation studies for the Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry (“DG ENTR”). We have an extensive understanding of the EU and national policy context, strong familiarity with the Small Business Act 2008 and  enterprise-related aspects of the Europe 2020 strategy. We are also knowledgeable about the sustainable competitiveness and “Mission Growth” agendas.

With regard to industrial competitiveness, CSES has a strong knowledge of the integrated industrial policy flagship initiative within Europe 2020, and relevant policy communications relating to strengthening the competitiveness of particular industry sectors (e.g. sectoral policies, such as space, security, tourism and construction).  Our work  includes  programme and policy evaluations, and reviews of the efficacy of legislation and fitness checks.
